Lightweight, Textural, Earthy

Jewelry by Elaine Coyne - artist, sculptor and jeweler - is known for its one-of-a-kind patinas on brass and sterling. We've chosen a few selections from her Equestrian, Nature and Young Collectors series. The pieces are surprisingly lightweight, yet richly textured. Stop in Main Exhibit Gallery to see more and try  them on.

New Railing Arrives

There's been a lot of activity outside Main Exhibit Gallery for the past two weeks, starting with knocking out the brick wall and columns that surrounded our front porch.  Paul added painted wood columns, which really opened it up. He also redid the landscaping and we added a mushroom fountain by Cliff Dupill (also available at the gallery). The last phase of our exterior revamping project arrived today.  Andrew and David Jacobs delivered our much-anicipated porch railing, which is everything we hoped it would be. There are a few finishing touches I will be adding to it (some glass and some coating), but it's pretty much complete. Stop by and check it out. We have more of Andrew's work in our gallery, as well.

PCN Tours Segment

Paul's segment on Pennsylvania Cable Network's "PCN Tours" has been getting  a lot of action lately. We're surprised by the number of calls and emails from people who have seen it within the last month. If you are in the Ligonier area, our library has a copy of it. Just ask for the Paul Sirofchuck PCN Tour DVD.

In With The New

This is how our gallery transformation looked by Thursday. The new posts are in place and the sign has been relocated. Paul added stone and lots of new plants to the landscaping. Cliff Dupil's mushroom fountain sits out front. Still to come is our new railing.  Stop by and see our new look.

Out With The Old

On Monday we started our gallery porch transformation by knocking out the uncharacteristic brick wall and piers that were added to the house many years ago and replacing them with 6x6 painted posts. The wall will be replaced with a wrought iron railing that is currently being fabricated. Check back to see the new look.

What Happened to Our Raven

Many visitors and townsfolk have asked, "Where's the Raven?" Our beloved raven, Cora Lugh, received some hail damage during last year's terrible hail storm. She was removed by crane and awaits repairs by her creator, Jack Mayer.  She will then be given a new perch in the front side garden at the Gallery, where it will be easier to maintain her, if need be.
